Generally, it is negative people who feel panicky for no real valid reason.

Most people become panicky in some phase of their life.

There was a time in my life when I too experienced panic attacks. I used to feel frightened for no reason at all. When I was feeling terrified, my heart will race and I would feel dizzy and faintish. When I analyzed about my panic attacks, I realized that I was jumpy and edgy because of my daughter.

She is in the United States. The distance between us made me feel worried about her. Though I go about my work normally, I did not know that I was becoming overwhelmed with worries about my daughter.

One day I suddenly woke up from my afternoon nap, with my heart racing. I could feel my pulse rising alarmingly high. I could not breathe. I was sweating a lot. I immediately went to the doctor.

“I think you are suffering from a panic attack. Are you worrying about anything?” my doctor smiled at me.

“No, doctor, I am perfectly fine. I am worried that something is wrong with my body” I told the doctor worryingly.

“Your health is perfect. I think your problem has got to do with your mind. Do not keep worrying needlessly. Keep your mind calm. When you calm your mind, I think you would be perfectly OK” my doctor reassured me.

I then knew that my panic attack was the outcome of my worries about my daughter. “I must stop this unnecessary worrying. My daughter is happy with her family. I should be feeling content, instead of worrying about her” I told myself.

Needless to say, when I stopped my unwanted worries, I never experienced panic attacks in my life.

There are many psychological reasons for panic attacks.

  • Negative thoughts.
  • Trauma you suffer in your life.
  • Love failure.
  • Depression.
  • Persistent failures and rebuffs.
  • Fear about your future.
  • Loneliness which instigates the feeling of emotional insecurity.
  • Loss of your precious one.

Can you see your panic attacks are mostly mind related?

When negative thoughts occupy your total mind, you become pessimistic and gloomy. You imagine many untoward things happening to you.

And your negative imagination triggers panic attacks. When your mind dwells deep into your worries, your negativity seem real and threatening to you.

Your wild negative imagination makes you feel frightened and you paint a hallucinated and terrifying picture of your life.

You feel overwhelmed with fear about your problems. You make your mind cloudy and murky by feeding fear into it. Your mind conveys your fear to your body. And your body reacts acccording to your fear. You become terrified for no reason.

And the result of these chain reaction is panic attacks.

You must overcome your fears if you must be relieved of your panic attacks.
