An atheist wants to prove his intelligence by raising his doubts about God. And there are many scientists who go all out to prove that there is no God.

I am an ardent believer in the existence of God. I think this beautiful world is his creation.

I adore to watch the sunrise in all its glory. It is always amazing to see how the magnificent rays of the sun make the morning darkness dissolve magically. The splendor of sunlight which gives everything an early morning orange glow never ceased to excite me.

The regularity of sunrise and sunset is awe inspiring, isn’t it?

Yes!

Does sunrise and sunset happen on its own?

No.

It does not.

Everything about this beautiful universe is an awesome creation of God.

But an atheist would not agree to this basic fact and he wants to prove his intellginece by having doubts about God. He argues that God does not exist as there is no physical proof to it.

“Show me God and I will agree he exists” is your argument if you are a person who does not believe in God.

God does not have to prove himself by making his presence visible to you. If he appears at your beck and call, you will make him your servant to do whatever you crave for. And you will never evolve as a confident person.

Every materialistic thing in this world is created by someone.

• A building does not spring on its own. It needs people to create it.
• A fruit does not appear on its own. It needs a seed.
• A shoe does not appear on its own. It is created.
• Jewelry does not appear on its own. It is created.

Can you see how even lifeless things need a creator?

• A goldsmith creates gold jewelry.
• A blacksmith creates iron objects.
• A cobbler creates shoes.

Nothing in this world springs from nowhere.

When even the tiniest thing in this world needs a creator, it is foolish to bring forth the theory that the world created itself.

There is a creator behind everything you see in this world. The mobile phones that has taken your life by storm is an invention of someone. It just did not come to the market by its own.

You praise Thomas Alva Edison for being the creator of many things we use now. You praise Isaac Newton as the person who discovered gravity. You always quote someone being the reason behind some discovery.

But you say that there was no creator for this universe. You argue that God does not exist. You say that there is no physical proof of His existence.

Do you mean to say that this awesome universe with its magnificent solar system, nature, forests and many more awe-inspiring things all sprung up from nowhere?

I do not know science. I only know that God is the creator of the universe you and I live in. I never have any doubts about God as I know He is all prevailing and all dominant.

Doubts about God only prove the ignorance of the so-called intelligent people.

If physical presence is the criteria to prove the presence of God, it means all that is not seen does not exist.

Love exists but cannot be seen. Common sense exists, but cannot be seen. Intelligence exists but cannot be seen. All these can only be felt.

Likewise, the presence God should be felt. When you have doubts about God you are missing the most poignant emotion you can ever feel.

It is the feeling of the presence of a supreme power who is above all the pettiness of this mercenary world.

I had felt the presence of God in my life many, many times.

There was a period in my life when I led a nightmarish life of debts, a bed ridden husband and not a single penny for his treatment. Every single penny I spent on my husband’s treatment was borrowed from my tenant.

Even though I struggled to save my husband, I could not. I lost him. But my agony did not stop there.

The amount I borrowed from my tenant was way above my reach. I had no money to repay my tenant and so I agreed to sell the property to him.

The property was my only source of income. That I had to sell it made me sad.

“Where is God? He has not helped me in anyway” I told myself miserably.

“When God did not help me in my time of distress, there is no point in believing in Him” I was cynical about the presence of God.

The date for the registration of my property was fixed.

“Do not sell the property amma. It is our only source of income. We will suffer if you do so. You must talk to the tenant” my daughter told me just a few days before the registration.

My daughter was only seventeen at that time. To this date I feel that God talked to me through her.

“How will my tenant agree to what she was saying?” I never believed that my tenant would agree to what my daughter was suggesting.

I prayed God and asked him to be within me when I talked with my tenant. Gathering all my inner strength I called my tenant to come to my house.

Feeling jittery and holding on to my faith in God, I told my tenant that I was not going to sell the property. I still do not know what I talked and how my tenant reacted.

Amazingly he agreed to whatever I said. And surprisingly he increased the rent of my property also. I still cannot believe I made what seemed an impossible thing a reality.

Was it I who made the impossible possible?

No!

It was God who made me do it by empowering me with courage and guts.

I will not agree to the fact that it happened on its own and God was not the reason behind it.

How can a hardcore business man like my tenant agree to have the loan amount as an advance?

If he had insisted that he wanted his money back, I could have done nothing. So, I strongly believe that the change of the heart of my tenant was God’s way of blessing me.

This is just a tiny example to show that God can also do miracles which no one else can do in your life.

Atheists contend that since God is not seen, He does not exist. I am sad that they are missing the emotional strength the belief of God can give them.

How does the belief in God really help you?

Have you seen a weeping child?

His crying does not stop until his mother comes to pick him up.

How does the child stop his crying immediately after he feels his mother’s warmth?

The child feels secure because of the emotional security he feels in being held close to his mother’s heart.

This is the emotional security and wellbeing you feel when you pray.

God is your only savior!

You face so many problems in your life, and your heart literally screams in agony when there is no one to help you.

When you face defeats and failures in your life, you are deserted by your friends, relatives and sometimes even by your spouse.

You feel that you are all alone in this cold-blooded world. You ache for comfort and solace. But no one comes to your aid. But when you kneel down to pray, God never deserts you. He gives you the solace no one else can give you.

Place your infinite faith in God and pray for His grace. The magic of God is that he does not immediately solve your problems.

He goes to the root cause of your problems and you are placed in situations wherein you realize your mistakes. The severity of your problems make you vow never to commit the same blunders ever again.

It takes time, but God will definitely come to your rescue.

Will you only believe in God if you see him?

Can you see love?

Can you see sympathy, anger, and sadness?

You cannot see it, but you can feel it.

It is the same with God. He can be felt and when you reach out to Him, you can tangibly feel Him near you.

Do not waste your life trying to prove your intelligence by asking the question does God exist. You gather nothing out of your wayward intelligence.

But when you trust and believe the existence of God, the confidence it gives you renews your hopeless life.
